SELLING YOUR CONDO WHILE IT IS STILL UNDER CONTRACT
I get many questions regarding the ability to assign or sell a
condominium prior to closing, and this is a common goal for investors
in today’s market of run away price increases.
Before I review your options I want to make a few general statements:
§ First, do not enter into an agreement to purchase a condominium
residence unless you are fully prepared to close on the contract
AND hold the residence for a year or two or you must be prepared
to lose your deposit if you cannot close. I have seen too many investors
